The fixed time will start from 12:00 tonight for the state assembly and representative assembly member elections to be held on November 4.
The election commission has said that after the start of the time period, election campaigning will not be allowed through any other means of social media or online.
According to the Election Commission, no message, information or propaganda material can be posted or shared in favor or against a political party or candidate through social media, online, print or any other means.
Also, sound system, short message service (SMS), social media or any other similar means should not be used for election propaganda and asking for votes.
Likewise, political parties, candidates, and affiliated organizations of the party should remove advertisements and election propaganda materials made through social media.
